Senator Harry Reid and his wife of 52 years, Landra, were recent first-time guests at the Fairgate. The couple enjoyed a 3-night stay in the Cotswold Suite while squeezing in a packed agenda. “This was just the perfect place for us,” commented Senator Reid. “It was peaceful and quiet … everyone was wonderful.” Mrs. Reid shared that life on the road has become very complicated since 9-11. “The higher up in office, the more secret service that surrounds you.” Hence the five agents who stayed at the Inn and stuck close to the Reid’s night and day. It was nice that they were all able to relax a little … the Fairgate has that effect on people. It was a reminder, too, that good hospitality reaches across all boundaries. Everyone appreciates feeling at home. So, whether you vote red, blue or green, our welcome mat is always out and our smiles ready. Hope to see you here soon.
